Product Support Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilitiy

 

  • In your role as Product Support Engineer EMEA, you are responsible for the product support (hardware, software) of an assigned microscopy portfolio
  • You work in an international customer-centric environment, helping us understand customer issues quickly and fix their problems
  • You manage and conduct technical training of field service engineers and Service Partners
  • You clarify technical requests from customers and coordinate the required next steps, such as sending out a Field Service Technician/ Service Partner or to ask the customer to send in the defect product
  • As part of an international team being responsible for EMEA region you are the focal point of contact for technical requests
  • You provide technical (e.g. product installations, spare part advice) and applicational (e.g. product handlings and settings) remote support to external and internal customers (e.g. customer care, back-office, sales, …)
  • You are responsible for in-house service & will visit customers for on-site support

 

Qualification

 

  • Professional background in biomedical, electronics, mechanical or similar engineering field
  • Very good PC hardware and software knowledge
  • Good management & organizational skills
  • Good user-level knowledge of MS O365
  • Very high level of customer centricity and quality awareness
  • Ideally years of experience in the technical service of optical measurement & monitoring equipment
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization and with external customers
  • You enjoy traveling up to 20%
