Sales Specialist (m/f/d) - Material Science Microscopy
Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Evident employs around 4,500 people at a total of 57 locations worldwide. Evident Europe, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, employs approximately 770 people in 16 countries. The product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics, medical and basic research, as well as in various industrial areas. In addition, Evident offers videoscopes, products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis.
As part of the Evident Sales Specialist Team, you will strengthen our holistic sales approach from within the Sales Team and enjoy a challenging and exciting international sales environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the Evident microscopy product portfolio

Ownership of the full sales cycle in line with the business unit sales strategy

Manage sales opportunities to successful completion

Develop and maintain an accurate sales pipeline

Plan effectively to maximise efficiency & customer activity

Develop and deliver customer sales presentations as per customer requirements

Negotiate effectively at senior level in directorate & procurement functions

Work collaboratively to ensure a one Evident approach to our customers

Develop and manage positive customers relationships

Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships

In line with business unit strategy, take ownership and professionally represent the organisation at exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings
Qualifications
- A degree level qualification or relevant technical qualification or extensive experience in a relevant market area
- A background in material science, optics and/or microscopy would be relevant for the position
- You have good experience in direct sales and project management is desirable
- You are highly motivated to work in a multicultural environment and or willing to travel ted
- You are highly customer service-oriented and have a positive winning attitude

- You have profound technical understanding and skills
- Competent user of MS Office products and have a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
