Supply Chain Planner

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planner who will help us do the same with supply chain planning and replenishment:

  • Someone who can spot bottlenecks across demand, supply, and operational execution before they reach the customer
  • Someone who brings clarity and momentum to inventory planning, replenishment, and cross-functional execution
  • Someone who can help us make it Evident why short lead times and reliable delivery keep our customers ahead

 

We need a Supply Chain Planner responsible for supply chain planning, replenishment, and sales order de-bottlenecking within Evident Americas' Supply Chain team. You will set up and maintain inventory and lead-time parameters, proactively trigger stock replenishment, and coordinate end-to-end execution across departments and global teams to achieve a high customer service level through short lead times and reliable delivery.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Analyze and maintain supply chain system parameters, including standard lead times, reorder points, safety-stock levels, and outbound transit times
  2. Align regional inventory and lead-time settings with global SIOP requirements as well as supplier and warehouse capabilities
  3. Monitor actual inventory levels and drive operational inventory clean-up
  4. Cooperate closely with global counterparts, Product Managers, Sales Managers, Buyers, and Finance to optimize planning reliability and keep plans up to date through regular review and correction
  5. Execute and handle internal replenishment orders, managing the orders through inbound and warehouse processing
  6. Maintain close and continuous communication with internal suppliers to secure material availability and improve delivery schedules
  7. Align complex delivery requirements with Customer Care and Sales teams, and ensure they are met through hands-on execution and coordination with other Operations team members
  8. Monitor operational performance and troubleshoot issues, including open order management and short-term bottleneck resolution (e.g., supplier acceleration, re-allocation, delivery speed-up)
  9. Identify recurring bottlenecks across demand, supply, and operational execution, and propose structural countermeasures

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a planner role, or a comparable operational role, with a strong analytical skill set and end-to-end process understanding
  • Experience in an internationally operating company is preferred

 

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, BI reporting tools, and confident handling of MS Office programs
  • End-to-end process understanding: Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Sales and Operations Planning
  • Knowledge of lean methods (e.g., KAIZEN) is preferable
  • Fluent in English

  • Flexibility to occasionally align working hours with Japan- and Germany-based colleagues across time zones
  • Hybrid working model, combining the flexibility of remote work with regular on-site presence
