Digital Pathology EMEA Sales Manager (f/m/d)

The Digital Pathology EMEA Sales Manager (f/m/d) is the regional commercial leader responsible for building, developing, and managing Evident’s digital pathology clinical business across EMEA. This role involves executing the growth strategy and delivering the revenue expansion plan.
The role includes developing and implementing the regional clinical Go-to-Market strategy and managing the digital pathology specialist team, supporting direct and indirect sales within the EMEA region. The candidate will have deep industry knowledge and leadership experience in building a strong team establishing digital pathology solutions or services into routine clinical workflows in hospitals and diagnostic pathology laboratories.
The ideal candidate will have the drive and motivation to build Evident’s Digital Pathology presence and reputation in the region, work with the wider EMEA sales and service organization to maximize opportunities, and scale the team. They will have a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders and industry workflow partners, and significant experience working with Senior Hospital Management (C-Suite), Laboratory Administration, Department of Pathology, Purchasing, Contracts Administration, and other key departments to sell and support IVD regulated products into Healthcare.
This role may be based in a variety of locations in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, strategic and unit sales objectives, profit goals, and market share goals.

Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring for the specialist team, advancing their professional development and sales effectiveness.

Recruit, develop, and train the team with clearly communicated sales targets and performance standards.

Forecast monthly revenue and unit projections utilizing the company CRM (Salesforce.com).

Drive standard work to funnel management process in CRM (Salesforce.com) and DPIP (Digital Pathology Implementation Plan) process.

Strengthen, develop, and maintain high-level relationships within key accounts.

Work collaboratively with sales and service organizations, including Regional Sales Managers, Territory Managers, Distribution Partners, and Service Engineers, to deliver the Digital Pathology Implementation Plan.

Manage internal communication and handovers to ensure alignment for large and strategic sales projects and tenders.

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance.

Partner with customer care, technical support, and service to ensure smooth post-sales implementation and ongoing support.

Maintain industry expertise and network, staying informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.

Attend conferences and congresses, give presentations and webinars, support the specialist team and sales process, and host reference site visits, industry panels, and round tables as required.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar) or equivalent experience.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience leading sales and/or service teams in a high-growth industry related to digital pathology transformation in healthcare (e.g., digital pathology products or services, healthcare IT software, AI decision support software for pathology, or pathology workflow solutions).

Deep digital pathology industry knowledge and expertise; established network of customers and industry/workflow partner relationships.

Proven success in managing complex sales and tenders, consultative selling skills, leadership, communication excellence, negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills.

Expected travel up to 60%.
