Digital Pathology Support Engineer (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a digital pathology support engineer (m/f/d). In this role you will support digital pathology customers for both hardware and software related topics. You will also go on customer premises to resolve issues, where required.

 



Your responsibilities 
 

  • You are responsible to support digital pathology customers – for hardware, software and integration related topics

  • You are responsible for remotely monitoring the equipment on customer site

  • You work in an international customer-centric environment, helping us understand customer issues quickly and fix their problems.

  • You clarify requests from customers and coordinate the required next steps

  • You will carry our remote support and troubleshoot, but also go on short-notice on customer’s premises where required



Your qualification
 

  • Bachelor/ master’s degree in biomedical, electronics, mechanical or similar engineering or equivalent qualification

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in service microscopy / digital pathology
  • Hands-on experience with an opto-mechanical, electronic systems and software
  • Interest in Modern Tools: Motivation to learn modern technologies and tools such as remote monitoring tools, integration engines, cloud technology, and internal software products.
  • Experience in technical after-sale service environment / organization including field service and direct customer communications is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and willing to work in a service role with focus on customer satisfaction
  • You ideally have experience in analytics for proactive services
