Global 3rd Party Supplier Manager (m/f/d)

The Global 3rd Party Supplier Manager (m/f/d)  is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our global third-party supplier network. This role ensures a seamless supply chain collaboration, managing demand planning, supplier performance, lead times, and contractual agreements. Additionally, the position involves coordinating with internal stakeholders to align supplier relationships with company strategy, optimize the 3rd-party product portfolio, and drive efficiency improvements across operational procurement functions.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee and optimize the global third-party supplier network.
  • Manage demand planning, supplier performance, lead times, and contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align supplier relationships with company strategy.
  • Optimize the 3rd-party product portfolio and drive efficiency improvements across operational procurement functions.
  • Contribute to key company targets, including:
    • Order book conversion and improved revenue realization by ensuring efficient supply chain operations and reduced lead times.
    • Reduced complexity through SKU minimization and streamlined supplier management.
    • Cost benefits by improving supplier performance, optimizing inventory levels, negotiating favorable contracts, and optimizing procurement strategies.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operational supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in a global environment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in SIOP, demand planning, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in supply chain analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in working with SAP ERP.
  • Knowledge of category management and strategic sourcing principles.
  • Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
