Internship (m/f/d) Controlling

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Evident employs around 4,500 people at a total of 57 locations worldwide. The product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics, medical and basic research, as well as in various industrial areas. In addition, Evident offers videoscopes, products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis.

Currently we are looking for a student (m/f/d) - that would like to do an Internship (m/f/d) in Financial Controlling for a duration of ideally 6 months.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize payment processes to improve efficiency.
Independently create presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare, analyze, and comment on monthly financial results for various business areas.
Support in the creation of ad-hoc analyses on business developments.
Assist in administrative tasks related to the monthly closing process.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis.
Affinity for IT systems and a keen interest in using technology to streamline processes.
Highly organized and structured working style, with attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for learning and supporting controlling and financial planning processes.
Basic knowledge of SAP system is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, particularly during time-sensitive tasks like month-end closing and budgeting phases.
