Product Master Data Specialist (m/f/d) - 28 month contract

The product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics, medical and basic research, as well as in various industrial areas. In addition, Evident offers videoscopes, products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis.

Responsibilities: 

• You are responsible for the fast and reliable master data collection and data entry to the relevant systems (MDG, MWFC, ERP) for the EMEA and Americas region.
• You liaise with relevant departments (i.e. Product Marketing, Service, Operations, Customs, MDM, Procurement) and ensure product launches, changes and discontinuations can happen in-time and in-quality.
• You ensure effective and efficient distribution of launch and discontinuation information.
• You maintain and document product related data and documents in relevant databases (e.g. quotation texts translation database, SharePoint).
• You support the EVIDENT Organization with product life cycle related tasks (e.g. price change instructions, updated bill of materials etc.).

Requirements:

• Completed education or study in Business Administration
• SAP ERP and MDG technical knowledge and transactions reaching beyond SCM field
• Good understanding of all sub-systems (e.g. Sales Force) to understand master data dependencies
• Good understanding of end-to-end process
• Knowledge of common Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams.
• Experience and ability to work with big data
• Good and co-operative communication skills across different functions 
• Presentation skills
• Good Sense of responsibility, reliable
• Shows own initiative with a “to-do attitude”
• Good teamwork and cooperation skills
• Fluent in German and good skills in English
• Flexible and open minded for further tasks (e.g. Project involvement) and trainings
