Supply Chain Specialist - Warehouse & Delivery Operations

The role is responsible for coordinating warehouse and outbound logistics operations to ensure the timely, high-quality execution of deliveries. It covers outbound coordination, stock and returns management, transport organization, logistics claims handling, resolution of warehouse issues and operational support for export shipments, working in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
The primary place of work will be the warehouse location, with a regular on-site presence of at least 4 days per week.
Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound deliveries with the warehouse team, carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Ensure compliance with special handling requirements and shipment quality standards.
- Maintain a regular on-site presence at the warehouse, as operationally required, to investigate and resolve issues relating to inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, customer returns and shipment quality.
- Monitor and report on outbound and warehouse performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, and follow up on delayed or critical cases.
- Organize and monitor transport activities, including shipping label creation, carrier and truck coordination, and shipment tracking.
- Handle logistics claims related to damaged, missing, incorrect or delayed shipments and coordinate their resolution with the relevant parties.
- Coordinate customer returns and ensure their proper processing together with the warehouse and internal stakeholders.
- Manage stock and inventory activities, including stock reporting in the ERP system, inventory reconciliation and the investigation of stock discrepancies.
- Support export operations in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, including the provision of required documents and information to external customs and export service providers.
- Take primary ownership of either Stock & Inventory Management or Customer Returns, as assigned within the team, and provide mutual backup as required.
Your profile:
- University degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field, and/ or Completed vocational training, e.g. „Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung“, „Industriekaufmann/-frau“, „Kaufmann/-frau im Groß- und Außenhandelsmanagement“
- 1–3 years of professional experience in warehouse operations, logistics, transportation or a comparable operational role
- Hands-on and proactive working style
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of SAP ERP and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize operational tasks effectively
- Knowledge of lean methods (e.g. Kaizen) is an advantage
- Fluent English; conversational German
